Where have you Migrated From?
With Italian roots and a family background in Sicily, I grew up as a dual citizen, born and raised in Argentina.
My wife and I arrived in Australia in October 2019 on a student visa. I initially began studying English, but when COVID hit, it turned out to be a turning point for me. Despite the challenges, I was fortunate to begin working as a Welder, which helped me build valuable skills and experience. Since then, I’ve been able to establish stability for both myself and my family.
What Was Your Motivation to Come to Australia?
I truly love Australia. It’s a safe, welcoming country filled with opportunities and diversity. The multicultural environment has been such a joy for us, as we’ve learned so much and discovered new perspectives. It’s this sense of safety, growth, and opportunity that inspires me to remain in Australia permanently. However, I’m aware of the age limitations, so I’m determined to take the necessary steps to achieve my dream of securing Permanent Residency.
What Type of Visa Have You Been Granted?
I secured employment and sponsorship with a company in Melbourne, Victoria, and my family and I are currently on Subclass 482 visas.
How Was Your Experience in Gaining the 482 Visa?
My experience with Migration Downunder has been exceptional. From the very beginning, they guided me through the sponsorship process, explaining every step in detail and ensuring I understood what needed to be done for my family. They were always available to answer my questions, and I felt fully supported along the way. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey with their help as we take the next step towards our future in Australia.
Looking to the future, I plan to continue working hard, gaining more experience, and progressing in my career as a Welder. My ultimate goal is to obtain Permanent Residency for my family and me. This is especially important to us because our son, who is now three years old, was born here in Australia—this country has become our home.
