My name is Ismail, and I’m originally from Chad in North-Central Africa. I’ve been living in Australia for about two years now.
I first arrived on a Subclass 476 visa after completing my engineering degree.

What Type of Visa Did You Apply for?
I had been working with my current employer for over a year at the time of preparing my visa application. However, due to some delays beyond my control, I switched to a Student Visa to remain lawfully in Australia.
I then, with the help of Migration Downunder, applied for and was granted a Subclass 482 Skills in Demand Visa. I am an Electrical Engineer.

What is it like living in Australia
I currently live in Sydney, which has been a great place to start my journey, though not without its challenges, including adapting to the culture and pace and being far from home.
Soon, I’ll be moving to regional Queensland for my new position, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

Your Experience Working with Migration Downunder
I worked with Migration Downunder for my visa, and they made the process seamless. Special thanks to Nathan & Iris for their outstanding support and professionalism. My visa was granted quickly, and I felt supported the entire way.
Your plans now that you have your Australian temporary work visa. Now, I’m focused on growing in my career and working towards Permanent Residency.

What’s the best thing you like about Australia?
What I love most about Australia is its diversity, lifestyle, and welcoming culture.
