I’m Iris Caguimbal and I am a Migration Coordinator at Migration Downunder.
I am a graduate BA in Behavioral Sciences from the University of the Philippines-Manila with over 7 years of combined professional experience in expatriate management, global mobility and administration. In the last 2 years, I have specialised in Australian visa processing and familiarised myself with basic immigration laws.
What does your role entail at Migration Downunder?
I work as a Migration Coordinator, providing efficient and effective administrative support to our Migration Agents to ensure we provide our clients with the best immigration experience.
What’s your favourite thing about working at MDU?
My favorite thing about MDU is our very professional and friendly team which fosters a healthy working environment. MDU also promotes work-life balance which enables me to function effectively. Most importantly, MDU cares deeply about its clients, and this can be seen through its excellent service to its clients.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
You’ll find me at our local church almost every night. I am a choir member, and we often have choir practice and different kinds of church gatherings. When I’m not at work or church, I’ll be at home, watching movies with my pet Himalayan cat, Chippy. I love watching political thrillers, apocalyptic genres, action movies, and all the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I am an introvert. I like to go on long, quiet walks by myself.
