Name: Julie Williams
Title: Principal and Senior Registered Migration Agent
MARN 9903637, New Zealand License Advisor 201000937, Fellow and NSW/ACT State President of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA)
I would like to invite you into my world of immigration and give you an insight into who I am and what led me to become a Registered Migration Agent for Australia and New Zealand.
Firstly, I am extremely proud of my standing as a Fellow of the MIA as well as the current NSW/ACT State President of The Migration Institute of Australia (MIA). The fellowship is only available to those members who are ethical, registered for over ten years, and are recognised by their industry peers as professional with a deep knowledge of the Migration Act.
Born in Adelaide and raised in country New South Wales I developed a fascination for geography, cultures and the customs of people from around the world. I especially loved all things Japanese and studied the Japanese language at school and in Japan. I knew I was destined to work in a field where I could combine all of these passions.
I started my corporate career with a Japanese inbound travel company starting up the Human Resources and Recruitment Division. I was given my first experience of Temporary Business Visas in this role and this is where my attraction with the immigration profession began, handling visas for the Japanese expatriates.
My passion for learning about people’s lives, backgrounds, careers and occupations drive me to deliver the best customer service, engagement and attention in a good-old-fashioned country style that you won’t find at the big end of town.
I deal with everyone from large companies to individuals and I get no bigger thrill than seeing the smiling faces of those I help. I am passionate about what I do knowing that I am dealing with people’s lives where there are no second chances and so I strive to go the extra mile placing myself in the shoes of my clients trying to deliver a service at a level that I would expect if it was me who was migrating.
Business clients not only want quality assistance and passion but legal expertise and client management. Honesty and confidentiality is something that I also deliver as I like to think I am an extension of your HR team, and that I’m there to give the best professional and personal care.
