I am a highly responsive and collaborative global immigration and mobility professional with over 22 years of experience. I have previously worked within a Big 4 professional services firm providing bespoke immigration advice and global mobility assistance to both corporate and individual clients which has spanned policy development, client delivery, process improvements, compliance and audit activities and outbound immigration services to locations such as PNG, India, China, Thailand and the Schengen area.
My immigration experience spans a range of different visa types with a strong focus on corporate immigration (including sponsorship, nomination and subclass 482 visa applications, permanent employer sponsored visa categories, Temporary Work (subclass 400), Visitor Visas, Partner Visas, Resident Return Visas, Labour Agreements, Global Talent and Distinguished Talent Visas, Investor Visas) across different industries including technology, financial services, consulting, health care, construction, mining to name a few. I have also worked with Boards, non-executive Directors and Senior stakeholders on immigration risks, governance and strategy.
I completed a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology in Sydney in 2000, and a Citizenship and Migration Law Certificate from Deakin University, Melbourne qualifying with Distinction in 2002. I have also been a member of the Migration Institute of Australia since 2003.
What does your role entail at Migration Downunder?
I have joined the team as a Senior Registered Migration Agent and am most excited to be working alongside our Managing Director, Julie Williams and her team to provide high quality, professional immigration advice and assistance to our clients.
My focus is on corporate employer sponsored visas including that of Subclass 408 Entertainment visas whilst heavily involved in making certain our corporate clients are compliant in their sponsorship obligations.
What’s your favourite thing about working at MDU?
I strongly align with our company’s values of providing immigration assistance with honesty and integrity and making sure the immigration process will be as seamless as possible. I have a strong attention to detail, and like getting to know my clients to support them through what can be a complex and highly emotive process for themselves and family. The excitement you see when your client has their visa granted and the knowledge that you have changed their lives is also what I love about my role as a Registered Migration Agent.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
My most favourite past time is travelling overseas to visit family and friends. My weekends are also taken up with lots of sporting activities with my husband and children including netball (coaching and umpiring), tennis, soccer, cycling and swimming.
