Manisha | Subclass 482

Migration Downunder helped me so much when I needed their help. My visa was needed to lodge during the Christmas holidays, as my visa was expiring soon.  Although it was the holiday, they managed to lodge my visa and worked for me even during the holidays, I will never forget their help.

Manisha’s Story – Subclass 482 Visa

Tell us about your background

I am Manisha Nemkul, I am from Nepal. I came to Australia in September 2014.

What made you want to live in Australia long term? How was your experience with your employer?

Firstly,  I felt Australia is a peaceful country with a diverse culture. Secondly, I felt Australian and International people in Australia are kind and helpful. In addition, Australia is such a beautiful country to live in. Thirdly,  for me, as a Registered nurse , Nursing jobs are appreciated, respected and paid well as well. Furthermore, not only nursing but also, all professions are respected and have deserved pay.  Not only that, for higher education such as Bachelor’s, Master’s degree Australia is a best place as the degrees are well-known over-all countries.

The company that I work for , is always the best place to work, I have been working here since 2018, I received my sponsorship visa from my employer. My temporary resident visa was about to expire, at that time my employer catholic health care provided me with a sponsorship visa. I enjoy working here.  I am always thankful to my workplace  and its employees.

How was your experience with Migration Downunder?

Migration Downunder helped me so much when I needed their help. My visa was needed to lodge during the Christmas holidays, as my visa was expiring soon.  Although it was the holiday, they managed to lodge my visa and worked for me even during the holidays, I will never forget their help. I am so thankful to the entire staff of Migration Downunder.  The Migration Downunder team and Catholic Health care team were like an angel for me who helped me in the most needed time. I would always pray for their success in the future.

What does this visa mean to you in terms of a future in Australia?

This 482 temporary shortage skill visa is a visa in which we can work full time. This visa requires 2years of experience for applying.  As I was a Registered Nurse and I was sponsored as a registered nurse I always love working and being a nurse. I like taking care of my elderly residents in nursing homes.  I would like to thank God for providing me this visa at the time of need. In addition, during that time when my Temporary Residency Visa was about to expire this temporary shortage skill visa meant a lot. This visa can lead to a permanent residency visa in Australia. I’ve also recently got married as you can tell from my picture! I look forward to settling down here with my loved one.
