Tell us a little about yourself
I’m from Manchester, UK. I originally came to Australia in 2018 and did my farm work in that time. I then went home, only to return 6 months later to do my second year WHV when I started working for Goodtel who decided they would like to offer me sponsorship to stay and work for them. I have been with Goodtel for 3 years now.
What made you want to live in Australia permanently? How was your experience with your employer?
I wanted to live here permanently as there are better lifestyle. I’ve had a really positive experience with my employer, being a start up and being there from the beginning I feel like I’ve been on the journey with the co-founders to get Goodtel to where it is today.
How was your experience with Migration Downunder?
I’ve had two good outcomes of my visa status’ thanks to Migration Downunder so overall a highly positive experience! I am really grateful to the team.
What does this visa mean to you in terms of having a future in Australia?
Fortunately, the rules have changed for my short term stream occupation meaning I now have a pathway to permanent residency in Australia which I will be exploring (with Migration Downunder’s assistance!)
