Pawinee’s Story – 190 Skilled Visa
Tell us a bit about your background.
My name is Pawinee. I was an international student from Thailand who came here to study for a Master of Teacher (Birth to Five) at Macquarie University in 2018. I was originally on a Student Visa and then on a Post-Graduate visa after finishing my course. Similar to other international students, getting a Permanent Residency was my goal, and I obtained it in 2022 through the Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated Visa. This changed my life tremendously because after I obtained my Permanent Residency, I have had more flexibility in the choice of work as well as the schedule of work. In addition, I can now think of exploring Australia more in order to find the place that I can call ‘home’. This is all thanks to my Permanent Residency, which has opened doors of opportunities for me.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plan is to look for a home for my family, which consists of my husband and our lovely pup, Luna.
How was your experience with Migration Downunder?
I would not have been able to achieve this easily without the great help from Migration Downunder. My immigration agent, Alice, is knowledgeable in Permanent Residency applications and guided me through the application to ensure I did not miss anything in order to obtain my goal. I had seen her since I was a student and had consulted with her along my entire journey towards achieving a Permanent Residency. She answered all my questions clearly and promptly, which made me feel supported and confident that I was in safe hands. I cannot thank her and the team at Migration Downunder enough for supporting me in this journey.
