I came to Australia as a permanent resident, thanks to the then high demand for Accountants which my husband was. I studied to get admitted as a Solicitor which was my profession in the Philippines. It was my volunteer stint at a community legal and refugee centre that first opened my eyes to the plight of immigrants to Australia. For many, coming here, was not as easy as it seemed, and being able to stay was more difficult. When I saw the big smiles, tears and all sorts of happy emotions of people who were granted their visas, I knew I found the practice I have been searching for.
I love eating, reading, bush walking, not necessarily in that order. I also love music although I can’t sing and going to the beach although I can’t swim!
I am a Registered Migration Agent and a Solicitor in NSW and the High Court of Australia. I specialise in employer sponsored, general skilled migration, partner and family visas and has successfully represented clients in tribunal and courts. I am fluent in Filipino and remain a Registered Lawyer in the Philippines.
As a Registered Migration Agent, I make sure that I not only provide accurate and complete advice to clients, I try to look outside the box for alternative pathways.
I have worked in quite a few organisations and I find Migration Downunder to be an ideal workplace. The people are very professional but also down to earth and hilarious. Everyone works hard, gives clients personalised service, and treats them as family. I look forward to coming to work everyday.
