SA State Nomination

South Australia State Migration Program 2023-2024

South Australia has opened its migration program for 2023-24, extending invitations to both onshore and offshore skilled workers from more than 250 occupations.  Visa conditions and procedures for offshore applicants remain unchanged, but onshore applicants will now shift to Registration of Interest (ROI) process.

To be considered for South Australia, you must have the relevant qualifications and work experience in an occupation on their targeted skilled occupation list.

South Australia has moved to a Registration of Interest (ROI) process to manage strong demand from potential applicants living and working in the state against a limited allocation of nomination places.

Under this invitation process, South Australia will prioritise the retention of South Australia’s international graduates and temporary visa holders.

Experienced overseas workers who have skills in high demand in South Australia will be targeted through invitations to apply for South Australian nomination.  The areas include:

  • Trades and Construction
  • Defence
  • Health
  • Education
  • Natural and Physical Science
  • Welfare Professionals

South Australia is seeking highly skilled overseas workers who can make a strong contribution to the state’s fast-growing industries and projects of national priority. This includes people with:
